LADWP is Hiring Veterans!
Military service develops a person’s skills, training and experiences, qualities that would benefit any organization. That’s why LADWP has recently stepped up our efforts to reach out to veterans and entice them to join our team. Former service members can enjoy meaningful careers after military service at LADWP.
Robert Jimenez and Valentino Marrufo from the Water System and Sarah White and Amy Ta from Recruitment Services recently attended the Fall 2022 Cuyamaca College Center for Water Studies Career Fair on August 10. The event was the first annual Military Career Day for the Water and Wastewater Industry designed to share skilled craft job opportunities with military veterans. The LADWP team shared their experiences and discussed upcoming skilled craft opportunities with nine military veterans.
