flex program enrollment image

This year, 2024 Flex Plan Program Open Enrollment will begin on Monday, November 6 and run through Tuesday, November 28. During this period, the Open Enrollment portal will be available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including holidays) for you to make your annual elections.

If you are a new participant, you must sign up before logging in to make your annual elections for the upcoming plan year. Current participants will need to sign in using the e-mail address associated with their existing account. All employees should be on the lookout for both e-mail and traditional mail communications, including the 2024 newsletter, with information about making elections for the 2024 plan year.

Three virtual information sessions will be held for employees to learn about the basics of the Flex Plan and ask enrollment-related questions:

  • Tuesday, November 7, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., WebEx link
  • Wednesday, November 15, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., WebEx link
  • Tuesday, November 21, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., WebEx link

Employees can also contact the LADWP Flex Plan Coordinator at FlexPlan@ladwp.com, visit the Flex Plan Program’s MyDWP page or access the Ebenefits page for more details.

Prioritizing Health at the Bishop Wellness Fair

attendees with booths

The annual Bishop Wellness Fair, hosted by LADWP’s Wellness Program in the Employee Health and Benefits Division, took place on September 21 in Bishop, Ca. Employees and retirees received complimentary giveaways and had the chance to participate in a raffle, offering enticing prizes like an electric pressure washer!

UnitedHealthcare, Healthy Adventures Foundations and LADWP Benefits Specialist Norma Juarez were on-hand to provide valuable information about various aspects of wellness. This included information about health benefits provided by the Department, retirement health benefits and general health and wellness information. Attendees also received free health screenings, which were made possible through the generous support of UnitedHealthcare and Healthy Adventures Foundation. These screenings allowed individuals to assess their body’s overall health and screen for diabetes.

LADWP’s Wellness Program promotes health and well-being for employees year-round. We encourage you to remain on the lookout for updates about upcoming wellness activities, workshops and resources. For further information or inquiries, please contact Wellness@ladwp.com.
